Als Zubehör bekommt der Dodge noch neue Reifen und Felgen. Mud-Slingers in 2,2 und die passenden Beadlook Felgen. Durchmesser der Reifen ist 120mm.

Zur Verstärkung und Stabilisierung der beiden Fahrzeugteile habe ich zwei kleine Hölzer eingesetzt. Dazu kommen passend zugeschnittene Hartplastikteile, welche von innen in beide Teile eingepasst und verklebt werden.

Als nächster Schritt wird die Ladefläche ebenfalls mit Hartplastik ausgekleidet. Sinn und Zweck ist, damit die ganze Karosse nicht zu labil ist und etwas starrer wird. Das gleiche gilt für das Führerhaus. Wobei aber hier nur die Trittbretter versteift werden. Dies ist vollkommen ausreichend.

As a next step, the loading area is also lined with hard plastic. The purpose is so that the entire body is not too unstable and becomes a little more rigid. The same applies to the cab. But here only the running boards are stiffened. This is perfectly sufficient.

Nun können beide Teile miteinander verschraubt werden. Ich habe dafür Schrauben in M6 verwendet.

Jetzt gab es noch ein kleines Problem. Dort wo der Antrieb, also das Getriebe sitzt, musste noch etwas ausgeschliffen werden, da sonst die Karosserie an die Antriebswelle gekommen wäre.
