Hier ist die Karosserie nun fertig ausgeschnitten. Bei meinem Projekt, muss sie auf ein Fahrgestell von DF Models passen.

Beim Ausschneiden des Lexan für den Kühlergrill ist Vorsicht geboten. Nachschleifen ist auf jeden Fall notwendig

Care should be taken when cutting out the Lexan for the grille. Regrinding is definitely necessary

Nun werden die Fenster von Innen, sowie von Aussen abgeklebt. Ich bevorzuge bei meinem Projekt die Lackierung von Aussen.

Now the windows are masked from the inside and the outside. I prefer painting on the outside of my project ..

Die Lampen werden von innen mit Silber lackiert. Somit ist gewährleistet, damit die LEDs in den Scheinwerfern heller wirken.

The lamps are coated with silver on the inside. This ensures that the LEDs in the headlights appear brighter.

Für mein DF Fahrgestell baue ich aber einen Extra Rahmen. Die Axial Karossen sind meiner Meinung nach wesentlich dünner wie die von ProLine. Sind etwas instabiler und labbriger. Mit diesem Gestell bekommt die Karosserie einen besseren Halt.

But I'm building an extra frame for my DF chassis. In my opinion, the Axial bodies are much thinner than those from ProLine. Are a little more unstable and labyrinthine. With this frame, the body gets a better hold.

Für mein Projekt nehme ich die Lexan Farben von Tamiya. Dies sind das normale Schwarz und Camel-Gelb.

Hier nun das Ergebnis nach dem Lackieren und dem Entfernen des Masking-Tapes.

Hier habe ich nun noch einen passenden Dachträger montiert.

Here I have now installed a suitable roof rack.

Das Fahrgestell hat nun an den Seiten noch eine Verstärkung bekommen, damit die Karosserie nicht beim Fahren flattert.. Daran habe ich auch die Trittbretter montiert.

The chassis has now been reinforced on the sides so that the body does not flutter when driving. I also attached the running boards to it.

Nun noch einige kleine Zubehör Teile und fertig ist das neue Auto.
